Export Assurance provides turnkey services in support of the extraordinary income tax benefits available to companies engaged in exporting activities as provided for under the Tax Increase Prevention and Reconciliation Act of 2005 ("Tax Act").
Export activities include both the sale and
leasing of goods and certain services. Included as well is the sale of goods by a distributor where the goods are sold domestically but are ultimately exported. As well, engineering and architectural services performed for foreign projects count as "exports" for IC-DISC purposes. Leasing is also an "export" under the Tax Act.
